DIY projects was started with the vision to transfer knowledge to like minded individuals who choose to do things their self. The trademark Brainbee was chosen as any DIY project requires hard work and dedication that can be seen in Bees collecting nectar for their queen day in and day out. DIY projects are also known for their innovative thinking and originating as your own brain child therefore “Brainbee”.

The first enabling device chosen to use and distribute was a diode based laser engraver made by Sculpfun. Training sessions aimed at showcasing the laser engraving machines as well as enabling new users of their own machines to make the most of the technology surrounding they own.
